Sr. Catherine Marie has been the principal of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School since 2014.
Prior to her time in St. Clair Shores, she taught at both the middle school and elementary levels, and served as Director of Curriculum Development and Coordinator of Faith Enrichment at her previous school. She completed most of her initial college course work at U.C.L.A. before transferring to Eastern Michigan University where she obtained her bachelors degree in elementary education with an endorsement in social studies. She completed her masters in educational leadership through the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012, received a certificate in spirituality from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum) in Rome in 2014, and is currently working on her masters in theology at Providence College.
She entered the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2005, and professed her final vows in 2013. She has a great love for sharing her faith with young people, and spent multiple years working in youth ministry with high school students prior to entering the convent.
