As a Christ-centered community, one of the best ways to model Christ for our children is through service. We also grow stronger in friendship and faith when we work together for the benefit of our children, parish, school, and community as a whole. Throughout the year, there are many events, activities, and clubs whose success depends on the help of SIJ parents and families.

Each school family is asked to give 25 or more service hours throughout the year, or 15 hours for families of part-time students. Four (4) of these hours must be committed to the annual Summerfest. All service hours are due by May 1st of each school year. Any hours beyond 25 that are served after April 1st may count for the following school year.

Our hope is that each family member most enjoyably uses his or her God-given talents and resources to help SIJ thrive. Working together with joy and faith, we can strengthen our community as a light to our children and to all.
